I just feel like there is a whole other world here that I don't and won't ever understand, and what I have seen from it, don't want to..

I can see now that I am best friends, boyfriend/girlfriend with another Aspie, the way people treat him, is the way I have allways been treated too..

When it was me being treated badly, I just sucked it up and thought "their loss"...

Now that I see people taking advantage of, or taking for granted, or not appreciating my boyfriend, it really makes me mad..

It sometimes feels like the rest of the world is on "team selfish" or "team backstab"....

The worst part is, they seem to see these things as good...

It just baffles me, because no matter how hard I try, I can't understand...

I know how you feel.
Chin up, it's their problem.
You can tackle the world together.

good way to look at it.

to me, he is just such an awesome guy, so seeing even HIM being treated differently just blows my mind...

like I expect the rest of the world to see how wonderful he is too..... :?

Yeah. I know, it's so weird others can't see the beauty of what we think is amazing.

I feel the same way when I see someone mistreating my partner. It will generate a hostile response from me, because while most people treat me the same way as they treat my partner, I feel the need to defend his honour, so to speak, just as he would mine. My dad and step-mom are like this to both of us, and it's pretty sad, but I get more upset that they treat my partner like a worthless, lazy sack than me. That is why we are really each other's only friend. We are a team, and we deal with everything together. If the world's against my partner, then they are also against me, and vice versa. We have to be a shield for the other because no one else understands us.

I have stopped caring what the world thinks of us anymore. If others are too close-minded or ignorant to see the amazing qualities that my partner (or myself) possess, or they can't see beyond his 'weirdness' or unconventional hobbies, then f**k 'em! Why would we want to be around those kinds of people anyways?

I know!

I just wish we weren't surrounded by these sharks.... I wish it were an Aspie world..

funny how I see the rest of the world as so cruel, and they think WE are the "rude" ones...

I see Aspies as the most kind, intellectual, and mature people out there.... NO BS.... NONE!

They (you guys) just "get it".....

^^ Ah, Aspie world...wouldn't that be grand?! U're certainly not the only one to view NTs as cruel...they very much can be.
