If you ever begin to think that the good things in life were not meant for you…

think of the tiny sweet innocent baby that you were when it all began

and that you are still, in ways only intensified by time.

Is that divine gift of a creature worthy of anything less than beauty and love beyond all imagining?

You are worthy of the world.

The world staggers to be worthy of you its dear holy child.

The direction to remember that you are wholly good and loveable newborn at core I have heard before too, and it was so profound to me that I must remind myself of it when I feel lesser or unworthy. That's why I wrote the post, to bring back that image to myself and anyone else who has lost touch with it momentarily. Not sure if it helps anyone else but I personally can't argue the logic of it so it makes me feel better.
