I can't get anything done when I am with other people...
I never work well with others.

You might start by identifying what you do differently when working with others.

Perhaps they are distracting you.

It is hard to equally distribute the work and ensure that the work gets done by everyone. That's always the reason why group projects have been so difficult for me. I always have to second guess if I'm getting too much work or not enough and then there's assuring that what I'm doing is on the level of what everyone else is.

Ideally, someone takes charge as manager and divides up the work as they see fit. Rarely is it a good idea for an Aspie to be this person. On the other hand, what is easy for us is often hard for NTs--so quickly volunteer for what seems to be a reasonable amount of work for you to do in the allotted time. Let the NTs divide up the rest. Let the manager decide whether this is fair or not--that is his job, not yours.
