I get to wear a hat and a bulky jacket, which means that 85% of me is cloaked.

Do most people with AS have trouble with the hot weather? I love colder weather.

I wear my winter jacket sometimes even in the summer. I have this weird thing where I like being really hot, unless I sweat too much. In general I seem to have a better temperature tolerance than most people.
Winter, gazing from my window to watch the snow silently drift past the street light gives me sense of calm. Earlier today, I went for a walk, and my mind went in to a strange but very calm state. I'm not much for snowball fights and snowmen these days, but snow in general is cool. Sometimes school is delayed...Christmas comes soon. Winter can be cool.

I wear my winter jacket in every season. It's my comfort device.

Used to be able to see snow from my window Image it was the most beautiful thing.

I like some of the smells. People burning wood in their fireplaces, some other stuff too. Also like the weather, if it actually gets anywhere close to where it "should" be. Temperatures in the 80s annoyed me a bit. Those two things and a cloudy gray sky, and that's close to perfect.

I like looking at the beautiful snow although it doesn't snow much in my region anymore.
The weather is cool and the sun isn't beating down on me.

I don't mind the cold in and of itself, but when it's a humid, damp cold it can be horrible. I've lived in two Canadian cities, Ottawa and Toronto, and one thing that characterizes them both is their proximity to both bodies of water and drastic elevation changes, resulting in a rainshadow effect which keeps all the moisture in one area. Summers and winters are brutal.

When people from the arctic circle come down here they want to go back to warm up. A dry cold you can dress for; a damp cold requires close proximity to an external source of heat, like yo mama!

I like winter because all the wasps and bees don't come out to play "who's gonna sting this guy first?"
