I feel a lot of pain at the moment and have lots of thoughts of suicide and self harm.

In the past Ive been a heavy drinker, smoker and comfort eater but worked hard to give those things up and dont want to turn to those things to get me through.

I dont want to go to the Dr as I went before and they did not help (they said I was fine and it was normal for AS people to be anxious).

But what can I do to cope with my painful feelings?

Breathing exercises, visualisation, sport, write it down, talking about it with someone, singing, animals, hugging, etc., etc.

Thanks Wallourdes

I shall try writing my feelings down and visualisation, I dont have anyone to talk to or hug though, but I already do deep breathing and exercise/running and play with my pets.

I wonder if youtube has any good visualisations, I shall have a look.
