In what country/ies will grudges be less common?
I'm tired of unreasonably long grudges; why should anyone still hold one against someone who has matured beyond the original reasons by now?
(Example: Would you STILL hate a classmate for what they did in Kindergarten? I know I wouldn't, because I'd acknowledge that they've grown well beyond those immature tendencies in the first place.)
And yet, long grudges and friendships that end/vendettas that begin at the drop of a hat is characteristic of the United States in the first place.
At first, I thought there may be a sanctuary WITHIN America: The "true" church. The LDS Missionaries promised me a lot of uplifting qualities about this church, only for me to get hurt by some members months later. Apparently the grudging/fast-friend-ending characteristic of America is so strong and permeating, even LDS CHURCH MEMBERS are not immune to it.
Therefore, I would have to find this sanctuary out of the US.
What country/ies would grudges be less common (or even more taboo) and have friendships easier to maintain, and harder to end?
If your answer is none, then may I ask: Have you been to all 190+ countries on the Earth?
No? Then how would you know first-hand? Who here has been to all sovereign nations?
I also ponder over countries with a higher HDI than the US - since strife, vendettas, and etc. could do its part in keeping nations' HDIs low, perhaps the countries with higher HDIs have them because there's generally less of them. (If you're from those countries, how true is that?)

what did you do that caused people to hold grudges for so long? it's hard to tell you where it would be a betterr situation for you without knowing why people are still angry.

Tell me about it, some of the LDS in the UK are just as bad. That's the main reason why I less active for the second time.
That's the Mormon Mafia for you spiritual and social Machiavellianism in action. Especially beware of cliques, the grapevine and family's who have a lot of there members in church callings. I pissed off my fair share of the church members (They pissed me off too a lot more) mostly family of key priesthood leaders, looking back at things It was a power play to get me out of my calling & off PEC as they hated be challenging about they very poor leadership skills,.as some of them thought church as just a social club!
Edit: Also take not on what am about to without going into my own personal details & crappy past. NEVER ASSUME THAT THE TEMPLE IS A SAFE SANCTUARY FROM THAT TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR. Some of the worst incounters I had with church members have been in the temple, one of which in the Celestial Room of all places!
Sources, please.

When I answered Denmark, I was being facetious.
I too have found church environments to be every bit as grudging as anywhere else. I belong to the Church of Scotland but am less involved in my congregation than I was, because I felt it was controlling me and forcing things on me too much. Once less involved, the attitude changed, though surely there's partly an element of getting out what I put in. But if even a church environment is grudging, it's hard to know what isn't. Do you think you'd be more comfortable if you had a social group among other Aspies? This is what I've been lucky enough to find in my life and it has been a much better niche than church. You would find that somewhere in the US and not have to go outside the US for it.
Only Norway, Australia and New Zealand have a higher HDI than the United States. Maybe you could consider states and areas within the US, you will know which states/areas are better off than others, and whether they are less grudging in your experience.
