Psychological Symmetrical Issues
Normally I'd be fine with something like this but at this point I don't know what to do anymore. When I was a child I developed something called Poland Anomaly which resulted in my right kidney ceasing to function. Another "parting gift" I got as well was my right pectoral muscle never developing and because of that I am "uneven". This has been nothing but a burden since I hit puberty and because of it I'm uncomfortable in public to the point where I always wear a hooded sweatshirt. Doesn't matter if it's 20 degrees or 90. Is there any way of me conquering this and feeling comfortable?
This might seem an odd suggestion but maybe getting a tattoo on one arm and making your arms even more unsymmetrical but for a reason that others can readily see and quickly mentally process and dismiss might make you feel more comfortable wearing short sleeves?
edit: wait a minute, I'm an idiot, pectoral = chest muscle. Well, still, same advice applies: could you get a tattoo one one side?
In any case, you're fine just as you are but I can understand from experience being self-conscious to the point of... limiting one's activities because of one's appearance.
Edited again to emphasize that I'm certain you are PERFECT the way you are, but on the odd chance a tattoo might make you feel more self-confident, I made that odd suggestion.
