In mainstream terms, AS means = no emotions, no sympathy what so ever.

But I have emotions, too many of them actually.

I have AS and I cry a great deal.

You can still have AS and cry. see its a little hard to generalize the symptoms of AS because no two AS people are alike, you may have a larger number of AS who dont cry, but it doesnt mean that all AS people dont cry.

Nah, of course you can still have it and have emotions, even if you have too many of them.

The impression I got, some years ago when I posted a question here about AS and emotions, was that aspies actually often feel a lot, but it gets lost in translation. Some even suggested that we feel too much, and that this is what makes it so difficult.

You're misinterpreting things. People with AS typically don't wear their emotions on their sleeve. But if you're feeling overwhelmed it's very common to express yourself to the fullest. Kind of weird, but true IMO.

I cry every now and then.
