whats wrong with me....how does it STOP!?
i get so scared or upset by things no one else does. and then everyone gets so mad and tells me to stop crying or shut up.
i get like this sometimes if theres a loud noise out of no where...i dont know why cause i dont get upset by fireworks or anything.....but i mean...my sisters friend put this scary maze game thing on where a guy pops out...and i was crying for 2 hours...and a ballon popped and i was crying in school.....im getting better at it...
and im so scared of throwing up....i dont know why....
so im scared of things like that....
i feel like i cant do anything really....cause theres so many things im scared of and i dont know what ill do if they happen....
Same here. Have to cover my ears at sirens. If I'm driving and can't take my hands off the wheel I start whining and shrieking.
A train went by yesterday and started shaking and covered my ears and closed my eyes while I was walking. It feels like the Apocalypse to me but others barely register it.
Coffee timers, alarm clocks, phones ringing, people talking with an edge in their voice have that effect to a slightly smaller degree.
People just can't understand if they aren't that sensitive. Do whatever you have to to calm yourself, that's what I do.

You could have anxiety. I get like this sometimes too, where I start crying or close to crying if I am scared. As for the sounds, that's part of autism, since I notice you have an autism spectrum disorder. I get upset by those sounds too, if sirens go by, I have to cover my ears or I start crying if I don't. You sound a lot like me though.
I have etemophobia too or whatever it is called. I get scared that I'm going to throw up. I can't watch horror movies or I have nightmares for days; sometimes so bad that I start crying. But if you see your doctor, try to tell them about this... or psychiatrist, whoever it is you can see. Tell them about this and you might be able to get some meds for the anxiety too. It seems to me like you could have some bad anxiety.
I can't really give any professional advice but... try to talk to someone like a doctor or a psychiatrist. Whoever you trust that can help you through this.

i do have anxiety....but i dont know i get it more for certin things. but whenever i have a panic attack or something and i start crying people tell me to be quiet or shut up or things like that and it makes me worse. and everyone just stays away.....so i dont know what to do. also i always really want my mom when it happens i dont know why...and it makes her mad cause she wants me to leave her alone....?
I can't even hear the tornado sirens where I live; if a tornado hits Ohio I'm screwed. Still, the sound of them sends me into panic attacks, but it's more the feeling of impending doom they bring that scares me than the loudness.
I totally know how you feel. I've avoided birthday parties because of balloons. People sneak up behind me and pop them in my ears. I have NO clue how anyone stands that. I can't relate to the being scared of horror movies (I think some are real funny, but I'm a sick person), but throwing up is the scariest thing ever. No one likes to hurl really.
As for the sudden clinginess to your mother despite her coldness, that makes total sense to me. My mom is the exact same way and for some reason I always want her to hold me or something too. I think it may be because she wasn't really there for a lot of my childhood and I just need that motherly love I never got enough of. Could be totally different for you though.

I used to be scared of both of those things, but I grew out of it or something. You may or may not. You just got to work around it; I wear earplugs that double as headphones to places there I might hearloud noises. It blocks out a lot of loud noises.

*fireworks....I kinda know what you mean, I got burnt by a firework when I was 4 years old, on the thumb
*throwing up....have you ever thrown up before? I'm not saying to up and throw-up, but it certainly is relieving when you feel sick to get it out. What scares you about it? Sometimes talking about what you are scared about can help.

I understand. I hate sudden loud sounds & they can upset me pretty badly. I once worked in a very small company, & I was the 1st one there one morning. I went to unlock the door & instead of disarming the alarm system, I set it off. It was so loud, it felt like the sound was coming from inside my head. It sent me into a complete panic, & I felt like a rabbit caught in a trap. I had my cell phone with me, but I was so mentally crippled from the sound I couldn't even think straight to use it. It took me at least a few hours to get over it & recover. I felt totally traumatized. In the meantime my boss was giving me a hard time for "over-reacting." He wasn't in the building, I was alone & the sound overwhelmed even my basic thoughts. I'll never forget how bad that experience was.
I also hate throwing up. Usually it takes medication to make me stop once I start, & it's so painful, & debilitating while it goes on that it doesn't take long before I am unable to communicate coherently.
I wish I had a definitive answer for you on how to make it stop. The only recommendation that I can come up with it to avoid the offensive things that cause you sensory overload.
Sorry...not very helpful, I know.
