I've been trying to determine the direction i'd like my life to go in right now. I want to start taking college courses and start getting my life on track.

I've been rather depressed lately, not a lot of things interest me anymore. I don't see the point of a 9 to 5 job (I don't mean practically) or to be precise a career. I don't know what i'd like to major in for college, even though I have been for at least a year.

I'm 25 and I don't really feel the motivation to do anything. People on a general level are irritating, despite the things we have in common with each other. There is at least one thing that you have to love them enough to deal with, alcoholism, racism, misogny, pettyness, verbal abuse, shallowness, etc its draining.

I'd like to get the motivation to do things with my life, there are still enough people i'd care about to contribute to.

I'd like at least one friend who is willing to try and do something different tomorrow. Something that they didn't have motivation to do the day before, or something that scared the hell out of them to try a week ago.

Is anyone willing to try? I'd feel more motivated if someone did, because i'd have someone who is counting on me to do the same.

I'd like to get past some of my habits of eating out of depression and trying to work out. I used to be in decent shape a year ago, and pretty much just gave up. Thanks if anyone replies.

Just more like I need someone who's going to step outside their comfort zone this week to motivate me to do the same thing.

Friends can be good at motivating each other.

Hoodedshadow: Thank you.
