Sorry to hear that. I get some wicked attacks myself. I do this to help myself break them. Your mileage may vary, but it's something to try. Other people I've told it too have had it work too.

Get a peppermint candy (the red and white kind work best if you have some or lifesavers, but needs to be mint).
Put it in your mouth and really focus on melting it, focus as hard as you can on that and nothing else (no crunching it).
By the time you have melted it you should notice the symptoms lessening which makes the panic less which lets you break out of the spiral that makes the attacks worse.

No idea how or why it works, just know it does for some people.

If you don't have peppermint -

try lying down on the floor with a pillow under your head, closing your eyes and breathing.

Tell yourself "it's fine. It's fine. It'll be over in a few minutes."

I have never worked out how to stop these myself, especially when they come at night when I am wanting to sleep.
It is really unpleasant.
usually, I just try and search and read on the net to take my mind off it until I am calmer.

I'm so sorry. I get them too.

I try to find a quiet place and put my head between my knees, close my eyes and cover my ears, and just try to block out as much sensory overload as possible.
