1. Woke up after a dream involving me chasing after my sister trying to get her to love me.
2. Realised as I woke up that I was having a panic attack. Great, now I'm having them in my sleep?!
3. Stimming, stimming, stimming...
4. Arranged for 2 people to pick up stuff that I Freegled.
5. Decided that the only thing to stop the bugs under my skin was to do stuff, so in the past hour I've put away the washing up, done more washing up, put on the washing machine, put the cats out, talked to my BF on the phone, brought the cats in (and been soaked in the process - thanks rain!), put out the recycling (hard for me, cos it's at the front of the house), changed the bin, cleaned up cat sick, cleaned the sink and hob, tidied away DIY stuff which shouldn't have been living on the landing, cleaned the Freegle items, put away 4 bags of cat litter (braving a MASSIVE spider, I would like to add), thrown away some dead roses, cleaned the litter box and checked the post.
6. *Sigh* All bless the UK Benefits system. I received: a cover sheet with my name on it, a preprinted form ending my IB, a preprinted form for my new employer to fill out and a preprinted form for termination of employment. I don't have a job  .
7. Braved person #1, who arrived on time, :). He was nice, so I feel good, if a little stressed about it.

So... I now have to phone up the DWP and ask WTF is going on. I have to brave person #2, regardless of sociophobia. I have to pick up my BF at some point cos he doesn't drive.

And my parents have just gone away so I can't lean on them!

Sorry, I know it's pathetic, but when too much happens at once, I fall to pieces

I am NOT looking forward to phoning the DWP. What if someone's stolen my identity? How will I prove I am me? Why do they think I've found a job?! Has my benefit already been cancelled?! How will I pay my rent or bills?! And why the **** didn't anyone check with me before sending me this stuff, not to mention not including a letter explaining it! And now I have to meet a complete stranger and be social with them too?!

 GAH!

Phew, okay, panic #2 over. They're moving me from one benefit to another, and for tax reasons these forms are generated automatically. Couldn't they put that on a note or something?!

Now I just have to deal with the stranger...

I can totally relate to issues with dealing with others, especially by phone.
I am terrible that way, and as a result, my family have called me lazy etc, not understanding my reasons.
I get really annoyed if something goes wrong in my flat and I have to call maintenance, or if I have to deal with the housing dept or doctors, or anything like that.
Fortunately, I have not had to deal with the DWP for sometime, being on incapacity, but I am dreading the day the new changes come into place, and I have to be reassessed.

I hope you manage to get through your difficult day.

Graelwyn - They're coming. I had mine last month and it was terrifying. Also, they hadn't redecorated the assessment center since the last time I was in it, 9 years ago, :x . Seriously, how hard is it to buy some paint?!

I understand why they have to do it, but being reassessed when your entire life is on the line is... stressful. The pressure is appalling.

I hope you have loads of time before yours comes :), and that you get through it.

 Person #2 just knocked and I jumped a foot in the air, I kid you not!

Right, glad that's over. Wish there was a 'sigh of relief' smilie!

Glad you got that over and done with, I know that sense of relief when you have dealt with these tasks, as I had to deal with getting my internet sorted not so long ago, and sorting out an unpaid water bill, on the same day.

I dread the assessment as although diagnosed with various things, I have yet to aquire a formal Aspergers diagnosis...it is incredibly difficult it seems, in the Uk, especially when having previous diagnoses.

Only way I got mine was to keep asking my gp ;). He eventually gave in  .

1. Woke up after a dream involving me chasing after my sister trying to get her to love me.

Haha, I had a dream that my little sister got to drive.

2. Realised as I woke up that I was having a panic attack. Great, now I'm having them in my sleep?!

That stinks, but glad you go it resolved.

3. Stimming, stimming, stimming...

Even non-aspies stim sometimes

4. Arranged for 2 people to pick up stuff that I Freegled.

What is that word?

Sounds productive.

And my parents have just gone away so I can't lean on them!

I don't lean on my parents emotionally most of the time. Music is great for that, and of course, the internet.

Sorry, I know it's pathetic, but when too much happens at once, I fall to pieces

Na, you're stressed.

Sorry that you have all that stress in your life. If it helps, you can exercise.

Annnnd last night...? I dreamt that every time we met, my sister and I physically or verbally attacked each other. Why do I keep dreaming about my sister?!

Doing it again today. I guess this is my new morning routine?! 8O

Yeah, it's fun for all the family, and burns off loose energy too ;).

Freegle = the UK version of Freecycle. Therefore, I put some stuff on the Freegle site for people to take, if wanted. I Freegle, you Freegle, we Freegle... ;)

*Very quietly* And now cos BF is here (he took some days off to spend time with me), I won't be able to do anything, cos all he wants to do is smoke and watch TV... :x . I love him, I love him, I love him...

All sorted, thank goodness.

Done and dusted :).

I do  . Mum's a mental health social worker, so regardless of the fact that we annoy the **** out of each other sometimes, she does understand me better than most people. Dad does cos he's also AS, and BF does cos he's supernaturally observant :D . Basically, they are my support group, even though I'm 37  .

Na, you're stressed.

In a weird way, I hope other people get this too, so I'm not quite so... different ;).

Was just thinking of doing that. Would certainly be a productive thing to do! :)
