angry and i can't calm down

i'm really really angry, i can't calm down. i'm going to take it out on the next person i meet if i don't calm down. how do you calm down? (i have ptsd as well as apspergers).

i think the best solution, is to just be angry for a bit

Who, or what, are you angry at? Figure that out, and you can calm down easier.

Can you punch something? Or hit something with a bat? Or scream? Those things work for me. My husband gets calmer hitting stuff (usually the wall, but I do not recommend that one).

Hit a pillow bed or couch thinking intently on the person/people/situation who did you wrong...
Get a good cry out of it...
Let it out in a hobbie like painting, running, writing...
Physical activity seems the best way as for me...
As well as listening to angry music that really hits a chord in your anger...
Observe and let it pass... Think of being in 3rd person observing the anger....

I normally go out for a run or a walk. Vent to myself.. because people could not stand the hours of me venting to them all of my problems which could never be solved by them.

Walks just release all the tension in my body, just walk on a day off of work/school and keep walking until you're tired.
