Was overwhelmed for same reason recently. Hopefully you can go to a room and be by yourself.

Overwhelmed too... when the floor starts looking like a good place to stop and lie down it is certainly all too much.

Wohoo, overwhelmed club. Indeed, I know that feeling all too well. Though, I always have enjoyed laying down on the floor.

Yes, lying on the floor does have its charms!

I've been sleeping on the floor for not having had the energy to make my bed, after having removed the bedsheets. :| Or when I didn't want to spread especially filthy dust around, when my clothes weren't clean enough to qualify (I sleep with my clothes on). It made me sleep incredibly poorly, though, and made by body and neck hurt a bit, afterwards, so it never became a regular habit. I *can* sleep on the floor, though, even when just tired in a regular manner... that is good to be able to do, I guess.

Sorry you're feeling overwhelmed. So am I. :/ I hope you'll feel better, soon.

Lol, this reminds me.
I can sleep anywhere if I am tired enough.
I remember one time when I was younger and I was CONVINCED there was bugs in my bed.
But my parents wouldn't do anything about it.
Since I thought the floor was likely to be infested, I slept on my desk.
Of course I woke up with back pain...but worth it for one time....maybe

On a semi-serious note, I slept a lot on the floor in 7th grade when I was depressed and whatnot.
I mean, it actually was a pretty comfy place....plus I had bad eyesight, so I couldn't see the tv from my bed

What type of clothes?
I never liked pajama's too much, I currently am in a t-shirts and shorts phase...but part of me thinks that's just because I am too lazy to change because that is what I wear all day anyways.

And OP, doing any better?
If you can, try to get some alone time in the situation.
Even if it is only for a short time, just go to a spot that's uninhabited and talk to yourself for the moment, I know it helps me.

Yep, the floor always seems to help when I am going insane. Calms me down. Comfy.

Regular clothes. :P Jeans, for example. If I don't have a cover on, I wear a sweater, too. I once played a videogame where the main character pointed out, "in his mind", for the player, how he was so tired after work that it was easier just leaving them on. Then I just thought "right" and started doing the same... heh. :B But I've started working on stopping with it.

As for sleeping on the desk.... I would surely have done the same if my desk hadn't been too small, and made of particle board.

Oh! I used to do that in 7th grade! I would wear jeans and a t-shirt to sleep, but I decided I didn't want my bed to have those germs in it. I never sleep with a cover, and sweaters aren't fun.

My desk was pretty small, I actually had to curl up to fit on it because I was so tall. :P
