Ok because im not in the mood to type this up again im just gonna copy past from the automotive forum i posted it on... It was more of a lesson for the other forum... but more of a rant here...

Ok so we were all hanging out at the beach between a few surfs today and a certain friend came in his ute... we were half way down the beach carpark moving towards the end of the carpark which is in view of the waves... Ute friend stops to chat and 2 of the guys i was walking with jumped in the trey... Friend starts driving and i quickly jump on my skateboard and get pulled along... we literally travel about 50 meters to the end of the carpark and guess who was following...

Undercover police... great...
Now in that 50 odd meters we went no faster then 25kph... but still its illegal... anyway after quite a lengthy lecture we were all told we would be receiving infringement notices... Oh well shyte happens... we were silly enough to get pulled by the car right in front of a police car...
I took the responsibility to speak for the 4 of us... i said "there is no appropriate reason to explain our actions" as our comment... really it was just a bit of fun to us...

So learn from this and dont skitch your friends cars... even if to the end of your empty local carpark...

Now as a little rant... in saying this i think we accepted what we had done with honest maturity... but there was alot of unnecessary swearing, attitude and generalizing from the two officers... Quote: "_________ (my surname), i recognize that name, i did your mother for speeding... how bloody typical for someone like you".... To be honest, after being what i consider respectful and mature to the officers i thought comment was somewhat offensive... that is all

Ok theres ALOT more i could quote... but this one in particular made me furious on the inside... completely disrespectful generalization totally uncalled for... i do honestly beleive i was showing the officers utmost respect and maturity... it infuriates me that people who have this authority think its really ok for them to be so condescending...

What he did was completely unacceptable. Will you make a complaint? I'd write to your member of parliament. In future carry a voice recorder around with you too and try to catch someone on tape the next time they say something so utterly unacceptable. People just won't accept that kind of behaviour from anyone, let alone a police officer. The sooner it gets dealt with the better.
