If someone really wanted to die, and I mean really had reached that point of no return, how could they go about it? If they didn't want to die in freezing cold water, spend hours pucking their guts out, & have no access to a gun. What would u be the most humain option still available? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thank u

I see you Kris. But I'm not going to answer that. I'm not going to put out information that makes it sound like I agree that it's OK to end your life.

I know that there is a point where some people simply can't be stopped before they commit suicide. But there is also a small voice within most of us that won't let us die without a fight. I think it's this voice that had you come here for advice. You had to know that we wouldn't just simply give you the information.

If you are really at that point where you are committed to ending your life, please go to the nearest emergency room and tell them your plans.

Much peace to you.

Please try some medication or ECT, (electro-convulsive therapy.) Also known as shock treatment. It brought me out of my depression and it's far less barbaric than it used to be or how movies portray it. The main bad side effect is you might have some memory problems, but I'd rather have that than being severely depressed.

After doing some more research you should only try ECT as a last resort. First off, make sure that they give you anesthesia because some countries do ECT without anesthesia and then you have a seizure and your body thrashes around and you can break some bones. It has saved people's lives, including mine, but it has also caused severe memory problems and other problems with some people. I met a person who couldn't remember anything of her childhood after having it. However if you are severely depressed and you feel like killing yourself and medicine and therapy and everything else has failed then you might want to consider it. Just talk to a doctor about it and its potential side effects and if you should try it.
