This is a follow up to a thread that I've made back in the January of 2007.
I've learned that over the past 4 years that incontinence isn't such a big deal. I've also decided to do away with Depends and use another form of protection. My new form of protection is a folded up 30 inch by 30 inch fleece square folded into the shape of a cheap brand pad placed inside of a pair of men's underwear. Yes, I have gender issues but that's not the reason that I'm wearing men's underwear. The reason that I'm using men's underwear is because the crotch area is wide enough to accommodate the cloth pads that I've cut and made out of 2 fleece blankets. The problem isn't going away and since it's only bowels that I have to worry about, I don't have to worry about leaks so why not do away with Depends? Depends are really only for people with bladder incontinence. If I'm feeling depressed about my problem, all I have to do is listen to Mick Avory's Underpants and than I'll be rolling around the ground, laughing for hours.
I might as well post both the link and the song:

Those exercises only help with bladder incontinence. I've also asked my doctor if anything could be done about it. He said there wasn't. I took it very hard when I read the response from a member that I considered to be a good friend at the time in the thread that I've included. He ended our friendship and somebody told me to have a sense of humour about my problem. I've decided to identify with Sid from Flushed Away as my way of having a sense of having a sense of humour, after that friendship ended.
These days, I have a sense of humour about it that's more age appropriate. My biggest regret is that I became a Punk Rocker out of anger instead of sticking with what works for me the most - The Kinks and the 60s Mod thing. I got my life back on track in 2009 after forgiving everybody who attacked me in that thread, as well as my parents for raising me the way that they did. Only than did I feel that I was good enough to like the 60s, again.

I imagine that what you are doing now is more comfortable than wearing the depends. I use to wear men's boxer shorts to sleep in when I was younger and married. They're very comfortable.
