I was diagnosed with AS at age 3, and life has been hell. i never done any drugs on anything until i turned 20 years old and i could not take life anymore. i started abusing a whole lot of drugs because i hate who i am and my life and i am just looking forward for my life to end and die and don't have to deal with this everyday hell of not being accepted by others. What should i do?

moved from General Autism Discussion to The Haven.

sorry to hear of your struggles. if you don't already have a therapist, i would suggest you see one who specialises in drug abuse counselling.

You should stop living life to the expectations and standards of others and start enjoying for yourself, acceptance and self realization are the first step when it comes to changing your outlook. Also I think you'd benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or finding a therapist who specializes in it.
