I'm looking for someone to help me cope in life and I wonder if anyone here can give me clues as to where to find the type of help I'm looking for.

I would like to find someone I can talk to regularly, say, once a week or once every couple of weeks, to clear up the confusion in my mind, so that I no longer have to cope alone. Having Asperger's makes me very confused because I don't understand people, e.g. I can't understand whether someone is friendly or hostile, whether someone can be trusted or not, or what people really mean when they say things. I need someone who can explain all these things to me when they happen. Also, I need to be helped to prioritise what I do in life: I am too confused to get my proirities right.

Can anybody here point me in the right direction? Where is it best to turn to?

If you speak to your GP, they may be able to point you in the right direction. DIAL may also be able to help.

For me it is really good to have some one I can check in with every week. I donn't have that right now and really feel the stress and strain.
