it made me feel amazing, and I aced my test with out studding for it at all..it really helped me when I was in class and around people, but as soon as it started to wear of my bones felt like glass, and I got really pissed....will this go away? I'm not really sure what board this thread belongs in. I felt terrible yesterday...

Ok, I'm assuming you are taking stimulants? You don't mention the name of the medication, or even the medication class. Adderall? Ritalin? Concerta? Vyvanse? Dexedrine?

If you felt great and aced your test and now you feel like crap, you are likely taking Adderall, Ritalin or another stimulant and are experiencing the crash. Your dose may be too high.

The crash goes away after several days. Most all of the side-effects do.

I couldn't tolerate the normal dose of Adderal (20mg). I ended up taking 1/4 of that.

they started me out on 10s, my dad was taking 20s. after I started taking Adderal people at my school asked for it before finals a lot....sorry but I don't want to break the law regardless of how much you pay me. (you get screwed over hard if you sell pills here.)

Do you feel like your avatar looks, when you are stimulated?

I would seriously take a small or no dose, and keep my health

I take Dexedrine and am benefitting enormously. Adderall worked quite well also. Vyvanse? Not so much.

You will adjust to the side-effects.

Does Vyvanse actually work for 14 hours as advertised? Because I take Concerta in the morning and a short-acting Adderall booster in the afternoon, and I'd rather take one drug that lasts most of the day.

For me, Vyvanse lasts about 12 hours. I have no need for a second dose.

Yeah, with the Concerta plus the afternoon Adderall I get around 12-13 hours of coverage.

I agree - I don't even have the oh-it's-gone cognition on Vyvanse. I took adderal a while ago (at age 11, I'm 21 now) and it made me feel somewhat sketched out in the evening. I had gone off adderal at age 14. I was on strattera for a good two years and I do have good things to say about it, but I wasn't too happy about the mandatory 20min-60min naps two hours after taking it. It's a non-amphetamine based SNRI and besides the mid-day naps and the nausea when taken on an empty stomach, I liked it for what it was. I started Vyvanse a little more than a year ago. I was really surprised at how strong it was. I am on 70 mg now. It really does suppress appetite and mine is not so good to begin with. I eat one large meal a day. It can really take you partway through an all-nighter (even when taken 12 hours earlier) if that's what someone intends to do  but the morning after is atrocious....
