have a bad case of it right now. Helps keep me awake and focused, but after a several days of almost 8 cups of coffee each, it's hitting me right now.

I have such a tolerance to caffeine, I'm immune to the effects.
I can drink 8 red bulls a day and go right to sleep.
The only reason coffee keeps me awake is because it makes me pee too much.

But I have been on a steady diet of some form of a caffeinated beverage since I was 3 years old.
I only experience psychosis if I stop.

My body is so weird its not *EVEN* funny.

I've recently been on a vitamin regimen which seems to help with my focus.

Now my focus is really CALMING MYSELF DOWN and ANXIETY so I can focus.

I only drink 1-2 cups of tea during the day to keep my focused.

Or I can drink coffee to keep me uber focused but haven't been drinking that lately.

My problem is more slowing down and being relaxed and in a natural state and telling myself this doesn't need to be done NOW.

When I'm rushed I DON'T finish things in time or with quality or am anxious...

I'm actually quite merry lately with my job...

wow I didn't realise there was something like this! and I drink a lot of coffee. do you have paranoia or something?

last night I actually had some proper hallucinations due to lack of sleep - I had been awake for like 48 hours, but coffee actually seemed to be making me more sane then, if only temporarily.

I just feel like a mad man after I drink 6-8 cups of coffee several days in a row. I don't get any hallucinations. I don't really know how to describe it--and don't really want to because it is such an unpleasant feeling.

Getting regular sleep is important for people ASD's--so I have been told by my psychologist.

oh I know that, and believe me, nobody loves sleeping as much as I do. I had to travel by rail to a few distant places though and had 2 overnight, 7-hour train rides in a row, and for some reason couldn't sleep at all on either of them. at the end of that second trip I was actually seeing talking trees and rats running on the floor that weren't really there. so weird.

I stay away from caffeine except for a kickstart on the digestiv tract

Otherwise it causes hallucinations which is true. People prone to anxiety and psychosis can hallucinate from even a lil bit of caff.

People with psychosis tend to drink a lot of caffeine and smoke a lot. It is paradoxical but the caffeine potentiates the effects of nictoine on calming the mind.
I avoid intense doses of caffeine like the plague but drink lots of coke 0. cigs/nicotine are calming but kickstart the right areas of the brain and digestive as well.
