For a 17 year old, I am incredibly bitter. I dislike nearly everybody I meet my age, I generally hate people and the state of the world, and I almost constantly want to tell people to f**k off when they talk to me. What the hell is wrong with me, how do I view things in a more positive way? It's really beginning to make people worry about me. My parents think I'm clinically depressed, but I'm not, I just hate everything. What do I do?

You're obviously feeling angry for a reason. Just look inside and ask yourself why do I hate (something) this much?
To be positive, you got to think positive; for every negative thought you come across, think of something you like in everything.

I have found that I hate everything much less when I have control over my life and my environment.

When I lived at home with my parents/siblings, I really HATED every single thing in the world. I hated being hungry, I hated eating, I hated other people my age, I hated other people of other ages, I hated planes, school, cars, and on and on...there was seriously not an end to the list.

Now I own my own condo and find that some things I previously hated are really sort of nice. :)

I still don't like very many people though. lol
