Well it Happened to Me
After being unemployed for a very long time I finally got this good paying job on this billion dollar project. I did fantastic and got along fine with everyone, I did good quality work and I felt that I was productive and an asset to the company. Then after a month, because I am autistic and because I am sometimes unaware I made one mistake that a neurotypical would not make. My foreman immediately slammed me and told me that he wanted off cutting plywood because the sheets cost $75 a sheet. At that time I realized that for all practical purposes I was fired. I also felt that since money was more important than me that I should slash my wrists in public right at the job site. Now I feel like such a hypocrite so I wish to apologize to the people I offended.
I'm sorry that you are having a rough time.
Did you say or do something offensive besides just making a mistake cutting the plywood? If you were angry and disrespectful to the foreman or coworkers in some way, it might be good to apologize. Otherwise, it doesn't sound like you have anything to apologize for.
I don't know how your job works, but the fact that he just took you off cutting plywood instead of firing you might indicate that he plans to find something else for you to do.
