Have you considered self employment? If there is something you like to do, like a hobby, perhaps you could turn that into self employment. Alternatively, you could do all sorts of self employment work. See below for some ideas.
- Yard work (should have a pickup and mower for this).
- Handyman
- Errands
- Pet sitting/walking
- Tutoring
- Carpentry
- Bookkeeping/accounting
- House cleaning
- Clearing out garages, attics, barns, etc. (should have a pickup for this.)
- Cooking/catering
- Writer
- Sewing/knitting
There are many other ways to work for ones self, too. Give self employment a thought. You would be able to set your own hours, and only take on what you can handle--don't over do it. We on the spectrum don't handle over doing it well. It's part of our neurological processing problems. We have enough trouble handling the regular amount of mental processing without a lot of added stress from extra stuff.
Now, put on your thinking cap, and give this some thought.
