Hear, hear - both for my own parents who divorced long ago, and for my own ex-wife... neither one of the women in these scenarios could be bothered to even TRY to resolve any issues, either myself or my father were expected to bear the full weight of fulfilling the princess's desires. All conflict was her being greedy and selfish and would not give an inch when it came to compromise or resolution of problems.
The concern for their spouse or children was a VERY distant second to her own desires (not "needs" - desires.)
It's a shame one or both of your parents can't deal with their conflicts effectively.... maybe someday they will when the bad feelings recede...
