Do parents seem to favor NT siblings over you?

I have a sister who I love very much, but my parents seem to favor her over me. I am a good child aside from saying things without thinking occasionally. My sister, however, is just as good as I am as a human being, but does not act as a good child should act. She disrespects parents in public and at home, does not help around the house or even clean up after herself, gets into trouble with boys, makes failing grades because she refuses to do her work, and disobeys them quite frequently. Yet, it seems that I am the one who gets yelled at and not heard while they don't so much as reprimand her for what she does most of the time, but she is NT and I am not. Does this happen to anyone else?

My parents were the same way towards me. My sister was allowed to be angry, but I wasn't. My sister was allowed to have a bad day, but I wasn't. My sister was allowed to listen to her music when she was doing her homework, but I wasn't. My sister was allowed to speak her mind, but I wasn't. My sister was allowed to babysit, but I wasn't. My sister is three years younger than I am and she's NT.

That's almost exactly what it's like for me! My sister is 4 years younger than me and NT. I don't understand why parents allow NT children to act out and have emotions but prohibit AS children from doing so.
