I don't have AS, but I do have a bit of a rigid personality and plans changing really upsets me. Yesterday we found out just as we were about to leave that my sons occupational therapy appointment had been the day before, we had gotten the wrong day and were all prepared to go, and it really affected me. I was in a bad mood for hours after, I felt disappointed and mad at myself. I'm the type that likes to have everything planned and when things don't happen the way I planned I get kind of disoriented and depressed. I think it's a control issue or something. I hate last minute changes, I need time to prepare for what is going to happen. Lol, things like this are why I scored high for rigid personality on the broader autism phenotype.
