In my country, mainstream schools are highly overrated.

I used to wish I wasn't born with Asperger's. Hell, my whole family made it clear that they wished I was not born with Asperger's, but that's their problem. But I am learning how to function in the world around me, and I am learning how to be a peer amongst NT peers. Life is improving for me. If I can rise from the wreckage of my school years, just about anybody can.

Remember, there is hope.

I have to agree with you there, mmcool. Asperger's is like a curse sometimes, especially when you have to deal with NT's who question why you do the things you do. Sometimes I wanna get me a t-shirt that says, "Leave Me Alone!" or "I'm different, that's why!"

Yeah.
NT seems so...effortless. Yeah, being broke but still having an awesome social life and relationships, juggling work and education so easily...it's all too easy. I'd like that. Instead of this.

I have been thinking about this a lot recently. I wish the same thing too. I hate when I do so much in a short period of time and, boom. Shutdown time. I managed to go a good 4 years (22-26) before it finally happened again. Now I am just trying to make sense of it all.

Honestly friend, it does no good to wish or complain or down your self or anything of the like, you are what you are what you are, deal with it by just doing the best with what life offers you. after all, isn't that all you can ever really do? life is what you make it.

Also to note, when you show or reflect you do not like your self, your only making things worse on your self. females likes men with confidence, self esteem, pride, etc.
