Moving...
So I just found out last Tuesday my husband and I need to relocate for his job by the beginning of this coming October. I just started a new job, so I don't plan to tell them until September... I am not doing well with the idea, my anxiety is super high I have never moved in my entire life so this is a huge deal to me. I don't do well with change. Whenever, I am transitioning for example with a new job my panic attacks increase until I settle in.... Now that seems trivial compared to the move.... Out of state too, eight hours away! I have alternated between sobbing and obsessing, to being in complete denial all within the same week. I am seeing my therapist tonight about it, but I was hoping to get some encouraging words from you guys too. I am not just struggling with leaving my family and friends behind, but also all the familiar places in town.

I know the exact feeling your going through!
My parents house that I lived in all my life was at risk of being foreclosed on. Immediately after I heard the news, I obsessed about it and couldn't stop thinking about it. I started reading all about how to prevent it from happening. After about a week in a half, I began to accept it a little more. I hate change too, but I've noticed that once I have enough time to process the news I usually adapt and accept the change. I hope it all works out for you, it will get better with time.

I'm the same way, and I'm glad you were able to cope too. I am beginning to cry less, but it still takes little to send me into a panic at the moment. My counselor is helping me build a transition plan.
