Hand Talkers Look Odd to Me

I get this very strange feeling when someone who gestures alot with their hands is talking to me. Its almost as if they are some kind of tentacled alien being, or a tyrannosaurus rex with tiny little arms with a human head talking to me. Does anyone else feel like this? Any idea if there is a name for this feeling? I've searched the web for this concept, but have not come across anything.

Hmm I feel bad now, I am an aspie who talks with my hands cause I feel better expressing things that way. But i never really thought how other people may feel abut me using my hands to express things.

Please don't feel bad. It is perfectly normal to talk with your hands. My experience with this is not the norm.

Upon thinking about how I experience hand talkers, it could just be sensory processing issues between my eyes and ears.

I move my hands around lots when i talk. it is the only way to stop flapping with anxiety.

I quite like the idea of being a trex. i is so much better then a seagull..growl.

I find hand talking to be somewhat bizarre. I've never used gestures when speaking to other people but I do notice that the vast majority of NT's do. I always get the impression that they're speaking in code.

Don't say tentacle in front of Myka.

Yeah I do notice that... whatever you do though don't respond with bad hand gestures.
