I got a cold right now... runny nose, mild recurring headache, lots of sneezing. But my energy levels barely affected, its more an inconvenience than anything. Symptoms are always shifting. First throat & headache, then runny nose & headache, now runny nose & neckache. It seems to be clearing fast. It should be gone soon. To be on the (un)safe side, i threw more than enough vitamins, minerals at the thing.

I get like flu maybe once or twice a decade. Colds are quite rare. last time i got asick was 6years ago. A serious case of flu, fatigue for a week or two.

I'm on quarantine with all the symptoms of Omicron.

I likely got it from the vaccine clinic where I took my mother on Thursday.

Hoping you get better, and its a false positive. And nothin serious. Luck is on your side and omicron supposedly mild(symptoms mirror the common cold.). It must be depressing, but i know you'll get over it! in no time!

Thanks, prisoner. You too. I hope it passes quickly.

I'm not able to get tested. Apparently they gave up testing people here so we have to assume it's Omicron and just quarantine. I've been quarantining since March 2020 so it sucks that I likely caught this at a vaccine clinic.

Mine is slowly getting worse going into my lungs and making my body tingle. Throat on fire. Palpitations that shake my insides (not arrhythmia but just a very strong / bothersome heartbeat). Dizzy and crushing fatigue. A little bit of cough but not much. No headache except vertigo. Hot and cold but mostly freezing cold. If I put a blanket on, or socks (egads!! !) I sweat so much the bed gets wet -- and yet no fever. Actually my temp is running below normal.

I don't mind taking one for the team but I worry about my daughter. We're staying totally apart and not even sharing meals or towels. I've had two Pfizers and she had three but she's extremely high risk / immuncompromised.

Anyone want to shovel the snow for us? It has to be done tonight by law.

^ I'd shovel your snow if it was geographically possible.
And you lend me some dark glasses.

Yeah, it's always good to see the positives. I haven't hurt myself during any of them (maybe a bruise on my arm or something). Just noise. I'm sometimes verbal when I do it and give commands to no one. Just room clearing in that half-asleep haze. I woke back up in my bedroom sweating. I should probably leave all the doors open, as that'll cut down on the noise. It's not really a common occurrence for me (once a year or so), though obviously more likely to happen when I'm in a bad time, and clusters happen.

IsabellaLinton,

I'm assuming you're vaccinated. You might be feeling a little sicker than normal as your body will be mounting a stronger immune response than if you were immune naive. That's a good thing, albeit you won't feel like it is. Unicron seems quite a bit less severe, so you're likely to be fine. I'll stop talking about that in case my bad luck can cross through pixels though. Watch out for any marked worsening of symptoms around the seventh day of symptom onset; that's when COVID-19's severe stage starts up if it does. This is where a pulse oximeter can come in handy. Governments haven't really communicated this one enough.

No need, my love.

Your poetry melts it away. 8)

I'd happily search for your glasses though, all things considered.

I'm venturing out now. I'll bring you along for the ride.

What song shall I play? Anything groovy I can enjoy from my phone?

(Let's hope I don't lose phone in snow like usual) (Or keys) (Or shovel).

Oh and maybe I'll put socks and mittens on this time. Maybe even a coat.

Coming right up -- it's on my OS playlist.

I am cold against your skin
You are perfectly reflected
I am lost inside your pocket
I am lost against your fingers
I am falling down the stairs
I am skipping on the sidewalk
I am thrown against the sky
I am raining down in pieces
I am scattering like light

My phone died after 2.5 songs so I'm in to recharge.

My mittenless hands throb and sting.

At least I wore boots this time. And I'm still alive lol. The snow isn't very heavy.

Funny but I had this in my head when I woke up:

Right Down the Line - GR

I did a little cry today thinking about how naive I am & how scary the world is. :(

Don't feel too bad. You're like most people here. Well, maybe not quite. Naivete is a ASD trait. Yes, the world is a brutal sphere of animals competing with other. It can be scary. I was just thinking about that, the other day, the ruthless of nature, and humans species specifically, us higher order mammals.

i can write some poetry that'll f**k a life up forever, mine. it'll make everyone feel bad for me, you'll care. but drawing that from my suffering isn't how it works. just another nameless man carrying that abuse and trauma. unknown. suffering alone.

the bad guys won in the end. they're laughing at me.
