For real, I felt better, then just suddenly snapped and went all b***h mode mean again. I think it's stress and uncertainty but I don't like this. No booze or drugs were involved, nor is this some anniversary of a traumatic time or anything that I can thnk of.

What can cause this please? If anybody knows, let me know please. It's happened rarely before, but only every few years. It's not bipolar because I don't have any kind of manic phase. I don't know what this is, unless it's what we used to call a "nervous breakdown".

Thoughts please, ideas, etc?

ATM I feel ok. I'm my NORMAL self, the one that isn't mean. But it's like a switch is flipped sometimes and I just go all off at anybody and everybody. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older. I know it's not any kind of dementia, like my grandfather had, because I'm only 48.

Experts, or those who are simply well read on this kind of thing, please chime in. I seriously want to figure this out.

I'm no expert but at least you sound a lot more calm than yesterday. May I suggest a mood stabilizer? I'm on Risperdal m'self.

Could it be the environment your in? From thr looks of thing you seem to be in a very stressful environment with abusive people.

We have a little saying here... It's "Conflict is where conflict does"

I think AspieOtaku could be onto something.

But this morning, something absolutely wonderful happened! Maybe I'm gonna be ok now. I hope so. Oh sweetie, it was great. This is something even I don't believe, but it happened.

I don't know if this is anything like what you are experiencing. Sometimes I wonder if it's something real or just a confirmation bias thing for me, but when there is a storm coming in, I tend to get extremely anxious and often find it impossible to concentrate. Once it starts to rain, I feel great, but almost always, the day before it rains, I am an total basket case.

Is it possible you might be sensitive to weather conditions?

Another thing to consider. Are you familiar with the effects of low blood sugar. Until I learned to keep my blood sugar in better control, I used to get extremely belligerent if I did not eat on time. It doesn't sound like what you are dealing with, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

You say you have experienced this before. It's tempting to think it is due to too much stress. From the things you post, it sounds like your life is one stressful incident butted up against another stressful incident and followed by yet another.

Is it possible that there is a combination of things going on that makes the cause of the blow up hard to identify?

I hope things are turning around for you and it will go well. It sounds like you could use a break.

Good luck.

If you are starting perimenopause you could be having mood issues from that, you may still be having regular periods.I've had two friends that had some real emotional issues, depression, anger, etc when this happened to them.Hormones can do some weird stuff.
I hope you feel better,hugs.
