I have accepted my fate... that the only way to be safe is to be completely isolated.

I will never be loved (I am asexual, not attracted to either male or woman... and have no libido either)

I have no family (Though some insults and cash fly by sometimes)

I have no job ("They will milk your need for approval" ... until you can't walk or breathe... I'm probably disabled for life... but dr wilson's book and site on adrenal fatigue helped me so I can stand up again...)

I never go out (I can't even go get groceries without being sexually harassed, insistently, by employees! In a support group, someone hit me out of the blue! I was nice and didn't even talk to her. I have enough with being a punching bag.)

So my question is... I'm finally happy now that I live for myself and focus on improving my health one step at a time... and got rid of anything and anyone sucking my energy until I get sicker...

But any advices would be welcome...

I guess daring to come here is a HUGE step... after I got sexually harassed in an asexual forum... but I'll be pleased to hear your experiences... Make this thread a survival guide or something.

Thanks and enjoy~

I chose the peaceful settings one; it was the closest match, though not entirely accurate; I'm married, no kids; seldom any visitors.

I'm living on my own with five cats, hold a job and do what's necessary, i.e. grocery shopping, but I refuse private contacts except online. When I retire I'll probably entrench at home most of the time and only go out if I really, really have to.

I don't go out at all except to hike once in a while....due to a delay in processing language. For years the only time I'd literally ever leave home was to go to work and I've heard of others with similar tales.

I'm retired, live with my husband and four cats. Rarely leave home. I enjoy it when I do, probably because I do so rarely. But it exhausts me and I take a day to recover afterwards. I worked at jobs for years and years, but always wanted to be home, couldn't find work at home, so retirement suits me. :) I am trying to get a little cottage business started, but one that doesn't require contact except online and by mail, to supplement my retirement income.

Chose the peaceful settings one aswell. There is literally me and my job, although I do quite a few things job-wise and all have to do with people, but I don't really seek out social situations outside the job.

living at home, almost never leave my room, but I have a job... only because I absolutely need one. It took a couple months to stop having panic attacks when going to work
