Call a local crisis help line even though you may not feel that your situation doesn't rise to the level of crisis. They will give you the number of a councilor who can help with the depression. That's all you need to say at first; you're depressed.

Look in the phone book or call the local hospital to get a help line number. Psychologists are well versed in helping with depression.

Ditto Mountain Laurel.

Sometimes the first step is the hardest - but you have received good guidance and I am hoping for you. Please keep us informed of how you are doing.

Best to you - LM

Chris,

Im in a very low moment myself right now. The best thing I know how to do is reflect. Reflect and understand how you feel and why.

As long as you understand why your feeling how you are, itll be ok. Understanding how you feel is the first step in then asking someone for help regarding it.

It always works for me at least.

(Im doing it right now).
