So now on top of all the other crap, this happens. I'm losing everything and everyone left and right.

Apparently he was shot at his apartment complex a few nights ago, and I didn't find out until today. :( He was only 38 years old.

I am so sorry. Whenever there is a loss in the family it is not pretty. (Gone through familial loss.) I wish you luck in sorting everything out.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I know there is nothing I can do or say to make you feel any better, but please know that you are in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry. Losing someone is never easy, but especially under circumstances like that. If talking about it helps, there are a lot of people here willing to listen.

Ssssseriously? Not cool. :?

He was shot in the back as he was leaving his apartment complex. They showed it on the news and I linked to the news story on Facebook as well.

I wasn't necessarily close to him, but I am close to his dad (my other cousin) and he already had a huge weight on him from when my dad died. Now his son dies and he has another huge weight on him.

There was apparently a witness who saw the whole thing, but they haven't interviewed the person yet.

I'm just....sick of losing family members to disease or violence.

I apologize. I didn't see the link (and still don't) so I had no details to go on.
