Ever since I was young I was always the oddball of the group, I always tried to be like my "friends". I am finally accepting to be myself but I am still having a problem. I have a lot of people that I am close too but I am so awkward with other people. I don't know what to say at times, I want to find someone who is like me. Any suggestions?

Best way to do this is to join a school club if you can, and find people with similar interests in that way!

Either that, or find an ASD support group in your area.

The fact that you are awkward with other people means equally that:
A) you are/feel different from them
B) you may start searching friends in other places!
The real problem is staying too long in A without making any steps to B.
