All the rejection is only going to get worse and worse the older we get. We all know from the statistics that most of us are going to end up doing it sooner or later. And the rest of the world has made it clear to us that they don't want us around. So why don't we all just end this now, and eliminate this horrible disease which robbed us all of ever have decent lives from the gene pool once and for all?

Because we don't all have crappy lives just because we have AS. Yes, a lot of us suffer from depression but that is treatable.

I'd really encourage you to talk to a therapist about how you're feeling. I think you are seeing a distorted view of things and if that's the only way you can see things it's going to be very hard to change them. Antidepressants, therapy, both of those can help a great deal although it may seem like it won't.

That is kind of a good point. The problem is, I wouldn't want my life to be wasted. But, at some point, if someone organized a mass aspie suicide, I would consider participating, just to make the world notice. If 1000 aspies blew themselves up in front of the White House creating a 200-yard crater, I'm sure someone would notice.

There's plenty of people on this Earth that would do us a favor by killing themselves but they don't and instead multiply. Since they don't feel obligated to do it, neither do I!

Besides I don't place love and dating so high on my priorities that it becomes a life or death nominator. If it's messing with your head THAT much, seek some counselling about the issue or make some more in depth topics about it on WP. If it's also affecting you that much it's probably best you don't go out looking for love until you can at least cope with who you are let alone cope with others.

@Tyri0n
It is not a good point. I can't believe you even entertained this thought. What would people notice??? What did people notice about the Heavens Gate suicides??? What did it change?

@galvatron
Just because some people don't want to date and Aspie you would kill yourself? People don't want to date black people either but I'm not in line to kill myself.

I hope his is just a down moment in your life and you'll move past this. Why deprive someone of getting to know and love you? Why deprive yourself?

Move this to the haven quickly!! !

considering some of the words you did just use in your post, I'll guarantee you some one has already noticed.

Because I keep myself occupied with trivial hobbies and God would be pissed at me if I killed myself. There's also the small chance of living happily ever after with a nice partner, though the odds seem about equivalent to playing the lotto. In my case, too, I found someone nice and was too much of a p**** to tell her how I felt. So here I am damned to be miserable my whole life and just play with inane adult toys (cars) and adult games (sports.)

I thought about suicide after my girlfriend left me, But Im no longer suicidal any more. like 1000 knives said, get into a hobby or find a goal.
My goal in life is too find a best female friend, and to break 20 minutes for the 5k (which not looking too good) and get in better shape.

Or why don't we get together in numbers and do something shocking to make a statement? If we're all good as dead anyway...

my children need me. Kids do better when their mother is around. Plus although I'm having trouble getting a job I'm moving closer to happy.

As you get older, the women in your age cohort get less and less picky.

But, if you're really getting to this point, then I would highly recommend taking a trip abroad, to a country like Thailand, where a completely different reality exists.

If people knew WHY a thousand aspies did this, you don't think it would raise the question of how we treat them? Of course heaven's gate didn't change a thing- they weren't making a statement!

I ask myself this from time to time.
I found something to live for, that's all it takes.
Don't make that "something" a person though.
