My older brother has been seeing a psychiatrist and apparently there's some chemical imbalance in his brain which ends up in him having chronic depression.
The psychiatrist also suspects that he has aspergers as well as OCD.
I agree with him having OCD as he won't let anyone touch his stuff and it's all laid out in a certain way, plus he's always in the shower and every time it takes over an hour.
But I highly doubt he has aspergers.
He is extremely social and good with words. He is also very sarcastic and passive aggressive.
He also attempted to rape me when I was 11 and still verbally abuses me in a sexual way.
I don't know what to do if he really does have aspergers even though I highly doubt it.
I've always thought of him as "dirty". (As in inside not physically. I divide people into "clean" and "dirty".)
He's the dirtiest and the worst person I know.
I resent him for being the rotten person he is.
But if he really does have aspergers I wouldn't know what to do.
I would have been hating on my own kind.

Having AS is not an excuse for anything you described. Your hate is justified regardless of his diagnosis and you shouldn't feel the slightest bit bad.

Sorry about your brother being that way. Hopefully he'll soon be approaching that age where he moves out of the house.

People with Aspergers are still individuals. And hating one individual is not the same as hating "their kind." In fact, hating any group of people defined by anything other than their specific behaviour is unfair. For example, hating all rapists is reasonable and fair. So hating your brother for attempting to rape you is reasonable. If you hated him because he had Aspergers, that would be different. Just having Aspergers is not a guarantee you can't also be a rotten person, which your brother certainly sounds like. Yet, even if he does have Aspergers, that doesn't mean you'd have any reason to hate yourself or anyone else with Aspergers.

What I'm trying to say is, you sound like your mind is in the right place. :) There's nothing wrong with hating a creep for being a creep.

My brother is 20. He is already in university. He's still the person he was when he attempted to rape me.
I'm not sure what I feel towards all this... He's a bad person. I resent him. I don't know if that'll be any different if he really does have aspergers.
