These few stories are a bit personal but I wanted to share them anyway to help others see that it can in fact get better. In my 7th grade I moved schools from a public school to a private school and thus began the hell known as middle school I was mocked, ridiculed, and isolated at one point I was tied up and left in a bathroom. I managed to get out but the memory of it haunts me even four years later. During this time I came to hate a book series called Twilight but in an attempt to not be alone and isolated I bought the books and pretended to like them. I did this because there were only 10 kids in the entire middle school (it was a k-12 school) and I didn't want to be alone. It got so bad that I once thought of killing myself because I saw no way out. This escalated at the end of the 8th grade when I was on the john making tootsie rolls when my three of my classmates barged into my stall. They quickly left the room but two out of three of them were pulled out by their parents after being suspended. In my high school freshman year I went back to the public system where I met back up with an old friend and now we run an video game commentary channel together. Doing this has made me feel like there is purpose in my life and a reason to go on.

This right here? I feel like I was looking in a mirror! That is exactly the same situation I was in 27 years ago, I was pulled out of a public elementary school and put in a private school halfway through 7th grade too, and 8th grade was hell for me too, I was not only picked on but was even sexually harassed by two girls no less. That I am still here to tell the tale is a miracle I suppose.
