almost cut my toe off with a lawn mower
it ate my shoe cut right across the nail and fractured the bone

just got back from the emergency room

moral of the story
wear steel toes boots when mowing grass

That sucks. Was it a manual or a gasoline-based lawnmower?

they gave me a injection of a real strong painkiller in the emergency room and prescription for Vicodin

s**t honey my son got the tip of his finger almost cut off by a fridgerator once. It was bad. He will never movie appliances again and he's a butt about any of that.

just changed the outer bandage again
its still bleeding a little, the surgical shoe they gave me lets me walk a little bit. I wish Vicodin lasted more than 6 hours though. haven't left my bed except to use the bathroom for like two days now

foot injury's really suck

its way worse than when I broke both bones in my wrist

just changed the bandages
im glad I had the sodium chloride to numb because it still hurt whenever that little piece of bone moved


I wish I did it to a finger instead of a toe not being able to walk sucks

went to my doctor and got referred to a foot surgeon

it happened on a Friday night so yeah, my doctor was not in the office till Monday

Walking on it will cause too much movement for it to clot properly.
Unless its bleeding heavily, it will be ok.
