I've been under a lot of work, emotional, and mental stress. Not sure how else to describe it. Got fed up with my mother because she asks me for advice, then tells me to not run her life. There she goes making another bad decision and I have to suffer the consequences. Not only that but she complains about me to other people and they keep their distance from me as a result. When did I become the adult and she the child? I mean, if she can't see the error in her bad decisions, then I guess she can't see how her one-sided, not understanding complaining translates to bad mouthing me.

I have to move back home now, and I have no idea how to deal with this. She won't change, and I'm a bad person for not being perfect enough. Just like when I was growing up, I'm not allowed to have feelings even when what I'm upset about is her making more bad decisions that will lead to bad outcomes.

You're not a bad person for holding your own opinion. She might see badmouthing as venting, but it does seem disrespectful and hurtful if people are only hearing one view.
Do what you can to develop your own separate social circle. Yes, I know I told you to lasso the moon, but focus on having your own support too. You should ask her to cut it out, but I'm guessing this has been ongoing.
Maybe you could find more people around you with similar interests? There's always some out there if you ask around enough.

I have similar issues with my parents. As they get older, they get more needy and I guess its up to us to take care of them. But yeah it definitely doesn't help when they chastise you over trivial things.
