At first, I was feeling exactly like you are at the beginning of it right now. I moved from one apartment complex in the town I live in to go across the town square to another one. And I still have to see my old complex too, when I take an older neighbor to her eye appointments. It's like the twist of a knife every time, when I remember the underhanded things that my property manager resorted to when she was in cahoots with the landlord. But it's getting lesser bit by bit, hopefully I will finally get over it. It's been over 6 months since I moved anyway. And it's rented out to a couple with a child now.

Moving can be pretty traumatic, especially if the new place sucks. I recommend going on expeditions to find good local restaurants. It helps one get the lay of the land, and if you actually find a good restaurant, it can make the new place seem more "home-ey".
