Something damn right annoying happened to me today...
As I've returned from my semi-daily shopping trip with a 75cc bottle of wine my older brother started berating me on account that I haven't bought him the bottle of Cola he asked for. My brother is about 28 years old, never worked a freaking day in his life and the money he seemed to feel so much entitled to were not from some "family budget", but mine personally. I've shrugged that off, as the guy is in the habit of imagining himself entitled to one thing or another, given our overly permissive upbringing.
Well, two hours after I've went and bought myself a bottle of beer - making this brother of mine to go really bonkers. He started screaming and threatening more so than before, not because of the actual quantity of alcohol that I've bought, mind you, but because I've yet again didn't consider his need for a bottle of Cola while I had the "nerve" of buying something for myself.
He generally acts like a five year old in desperate need of a favorite toy whenever something appears to be in his way. The only difference being that a five year old displaying temper tantrums does recognize a higher authority, while my brother makes a point in declaring himself "independent of social norms" and from the "hight" of his position sees himself entitled to push other around.
This was primarily a venting out post, but I would appreciate any thoughts or advice.
