Hi
I am going on holiday with some coworkers. I have known them for a while and I am thinking of disclosure that I am an Aspie before we leave so they might understand why I would like to sleep/eat at the "normal" time (eg when my routine says so) since it might (highly probably) will conflight with NT's holiday eating/sleeping routine

Do you have any toughts?

I would disclose it. It is not always easy, but it may be healthier for you to tell them.

It really depends how long you've known them.
Also according to your profile you aren't sure; I wouldn't be telling anyone much (and kept it between me and my wife at first) until you have a formal diagnosis, and even then I'd be careful.
You can get away with saying your the type of person that does this or that, or that routine helps you keep to healthy sleeping patterns etc, but don't go spraying the A word around until you are diagnosed, and are sure the people you tell understand and will support you.

You also have the other option of saying you have a medical condition, and need to strictly keep to regular meal times to avoid any problems with dropping of blood sugar levels - that might be easier than explaining a condition that is of little concern on holidays, but may come back to bite you when you return to work and the rumour mill starts up about you.
Just make sure whatever you tell them that you really know them, have a good rapport with them, and can trust them, otherwise there may be tears before bedtime.

Thanks for the feedback.
#benh72 I am nearly finish getting an official diagnose. To get a diagnose I did have to talk to 3 people (my doctor, specialist nurse and psychiatrist). My doctor and specialist nurse think I am an aspie so I am waiting for the psychiatrist (whitch have the final word) and I scored 135-140 (depend on the time of the day) on Aspie test

it might be worth considering the possibility of changing your plans and not going if you think It's going to cause too much dissension between you and your colleagues. colleagues are often the cruelest set of peers. they can be quick to cause problems with work if they have "ammunition". any excuse I can think of only gives potential "ammunition in different ways.
