My birth mother hasn't spoken to me in a while....

And hasn't responded to my texts.... She used to also always tag me in random things on facebook.... she stopped. I'm adopted you see but I still talk with my birth mom... at least I used too... What if she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore? I feel so alone... She keeps tagging her step sons sister (Who is not technically her legal daughter) instead of me on facebook.

I'm sorry she's stopped responding . How long have you had contact? When my mom and I first reunited there was a period where communication was hard, we both withdraw from people to process things and we were both afraid that the other person was being distant because they weren't comfortable continuing the relationship. There will still be times when one or another of us gets overloaded with social stuff and doesn't call or respond to messages. It might not be that she doesn't want you to be part of her life. It could be that she needs space to work out something, or that she feels she is protecting you, or any number of reasons. I know that that probably doesn't help much with feeling alone right now .

I am already 40 years old. My mother have almost always accepted to communicate with me only so that I alone talk and she listens and does not reply anything. Very sometimes she says something hurtfull. Now she does it so she opens phoneline keeps it open some time and closes it without to say even hello or bye.
This have started to hurt me so much I can not even sleep because of the pain it causes. If I ask why she does not talk...she says she can not explain ...or only stayes quiet. If I say it hurts me and ask her to say at least something she only stayes quiet. Sometimes it makes my cry, but she only stayes quiet sometimes even hours and then closes line. This gives me very strange feeling. I do not know why she does this. she is not at autism spectrum.
