My younger sister and I have been fighting like crazy these past few weeks, and it's driving me more insane than I need to be. Seems like no matter what I say or do, she gets angry at me. She keeps on thinking I'm ignoring her when I'm not, she keeps on thinking I'm glaring at her when I'm not, and even when I joke about something, she gets angry. She has a lot of health issues and is autistic like me. I know she means well and all, but she is the reason I feel as though I need to get away from the house just about all the time, and I enjoy the comforts of where I live. For all these years, I swear it, I tell myself that I am better off without my sister around. I am seriously getting tired of all this shtick that I have to go through almost constantly! Life would be much more pleasant if she weren't around and was never in my life!

soon enough you should be able to live separately from her. but don't burn your bridges.

Trust me, it is much easier said than done. I seriously wish I didn't have to agree with my parents on staying with them until I've graduated college which won't happen until the next few years. >:(

it would seem then, that another alternative would be to simply not speak with your sibling, other than to answer yes or no to pointed questions. if she asks why, tell her she knows why.

It's not as easy as it should be. Even if I did ignore her, she'd get angry anyway. I'm not saying all of this to win in an argument, this is 100% true. There's no winning against her on that stuff. That's why I think I'm better off without her.
