I've been feeling lonely lately... I have my hubby and baby, but I still feel lonely.
I WANT to talk with him, I really do, but- when I get like this I just want to be alone which only succeeds in making me feel more lonely.

It makes no sense, but at the same time it makes perfect sense to me.

Makes perfect sense to me. Is there anything other than talking you can do that might make you feel less lonely, like watching a comforting movie or maybe you could chat to someone on a messenger service if you have one?

i get like this sometimes. i don't feel like talking to anyone, but it depresses me to be alone even though my only true wanting is to be alone. i listen to my favorite songs or stare into space when i'm like this.

I do have msn im... but most of the people I have on there I don't really talk to.
I don't really know what I want.

I usually sing whenever I feel down, but my voice is all messed up from my cold. Listening to music isn't the same without being able to sing along.

That is interesting, as I am the same. I have to be able to sing, I cannot just listen. I am always singing. You are the first I have come across with the same way of dealing with feeling down etc. I suppose singing certain words is a release of the emotion.

my singing voice sounds like a screeching cat, so i dance around to release my emotions.

Yes I dance too. My husband laughs because I sometimes dance while I'm doing the washing up, or cooking the dinner.

I don't know what advice to give really BeautyWithin, but I know how you feel. I find when I get like that that something has to change in my own mood before I can start talking, like I have to get through some kind of barrier, if that makes sense?

I get a different feeling, when I'm in a crowd I get lonely, but alone I feel fine. I feel no loneliness when I have Cow Kitty with me. Maybe that's what you need.
