Does your roommate have the authority to kick you out? If you have a signed lease and have abided by the terms of the lease, she cannot kick you out.
She does. It is her farm, we are under a verbal agreement which is month to month. Technically we are living in a pull behind on her property but it is not self-contained. (we do own it tho! we are just renting "space").Good news is my wife talked to her mom and we can move into one of her currently empty houses that she rents for minimal cost. It is just going to take a bit of time to get a couple of appliances in there to make the place livable. We should at least have 30-50 days at least.
She actually seems to have a lot of problems. She asked us to move in when we had trouble at the place we where before alongside our other set of friends and asked for help with her farm. She has dairy goats dogs and a couple of pigs. We readily agreed providing her with dog food, trying to keep her house clean and help her with "changes" she said she wanted.
Two months later "we are trying to take over her life" and "we need to go". My wife's mom is so mad she was like "do I have to take my earrings off and go over there?" my mother in law NEVER talks like that is is a very classy lady.
Our other roommates are coming to talk to her. I am waiting at the rv, because I know me and I have a very very strong temper. And I do not always control my emotions well nor handle them well inside, well part of being an aspie I guess. I do not externalize those things with social graces and I could potentially become violent with this woman, whom disgusts me.
Mind you I wish her no ill and I feel sorry for her that she heeds help around the place and friends but she is willing to shun all those things that would make her life so much better. We will see what happens but, either way I really want to leave, even if she changes her mind. She is psychotic.
