Hello let me start by saying that this is very hard to describe for me so please bear with me .... This kind of thing has been happening since elementary school people would tell my to do things i wouldn't understand or embarrassed and would say thing that made me feel funny weird and confused. And on top of that they would tell me that some gut wants to go out with me or likes me and thing like that and try to convince me they were true or pretend to be nice to me. Half of the time i wouldn't even know what was going on much less if it was bullying or not someone i knew from drama tried to explain it and it helped a little tiny bit and know i think their trying to do it to someone else in my class. this girl said to me that she was his girlfriend and i knew very well that wasn't true then when he came in she said it to him and he just ignored her but i tried to stand up for him and it got into this weird conversation she asked me if i liked him and i said were strictly friend and people in the class laughed at me i don't remember the rest of the conversation but some guy said it was the funniest thing he ever herd.

Im so confused.

does this sound familiar to anyone?

what can i do? how do I avoid this?

Sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it. Those on the spectrum are known to say things "strangely", and would never realize it.

Yes, that type of behavior by other students is subtle Bullying just like you said. It is very common. You pretty much can't trust anything they say, so ignorring them as much as possible or making a short response that lets them know you don't believe them is probably the best way to deal with it as it happens. Kids like that are basically the same as internet trolls. But it may be a good idea to let others know about this problem. Like your parents and maybe a guidence counselor at the school. Its just a problem like any other and its useful to get help finding a solution and not being alone with it.

It's on-topic in either place. Next time, ask a moderator to move it.
