I am in choir at my school. We have a new teacher and the students are misbehaving. The teacher began to get onto the students. I felt overwhelmed by the sound of the teacher getting on to the students and the student's behavior. As I sang, I started to feel as though everybody was watching me. It seemed like everything was happening at once and was too much for me to take in. I felt the anxiety rushing and asked to leave the room. I started to breathe heavily and eventually cry. When I came back into the room, some of my classmates checked on me to see checked on me and I really started crying. Even though my friends were supportive, I still feel like a childish and terrible person.

I have gone through similar experiences, and felt miserable about it afterward. But, on the positive side, my actions eventually brought about changes in both policy and personnel.

I don't think you were childish at all, and I don't think that you are a terrible person either.

wow, fnord you do have a heart? I'm surprised, then again, going for choir girls must really be your style
these days ..

(get the feeling that this lot might know something you don't)

If anything, I think that this confirms that you are not a terrible person.
